Percy Wilson,  Chair, Ideal Academy PCS Board of Trustees

Percy Wilson is President of PerWil Management Resources (PMR) a consulting firm specializing in management, integrated marketing and building operating mechanisms for sustainable business-to-business and public-private partnerships in Africa to build human resource and manufacturing capacity. 

Also, he is President of the Association of Black professionals in International Affairs (BPIA); A principal founder and first Chairman of the US Corporate Council on Africa; Served as Senior Advisor to USAID’s Administrator to develop effective strategies to enhance public  private partnerships; Served as an executive with The Coca-Cola Company; Advisor to: Edlow International, CONOCO Phillips Petroleum, the Coca-Cola Company, Lockheed Martin Aviation and Springview Integrated Textiles, Limited.

 He served as vice president of The African Development Foundation, where he was responsible for long-term strategic planning, congressional affairs and drafting the Foundation’s first and second five-year plan; as Director of the Phelps Stokes Fund, Washington Bureau, assuming an active role in refugee affairs, working in coordination with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees and the Organization of African Unity on refugee issues of the Horn of Africa and southern Africa; Director of the Peace Corps in Sierra Leone, where he was, in addition, Chairman of the Peace Corps Country Directors Committee of Coastal West Africa, an area that included the nations of Sierra Leone, Liberia, Togo, Ghana and the Ivory Coast.

 He was part of the US effort to normalize relations between the US and mainland China, having traveled as a delegate to eight cities in China to discuss the issue with government officials and communist party.  He served as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations; a member of the board of Africare and the WorldSpace Foundation; an advisor to the Robert Kennedy Memorial Trust and trustee of Stillman College.

A native of Alabama, he received his undergraduate degree in Social Sciences from Stillman College.  He did his graduate and postgraduate work at Boston University in public administration and applied sociology and at Harvard University where he served as a Fellow at the Institute of Politics.


Nate Evans, Treasurer, Ideal Academy PCS Board of Trustees

Nathan W. Evans, CPA is a founding member of the IAPCS Board of Trustees and has served as treasurer since 1999.  Originally from Isle of Wight County, Virginia, he obtained his accounting degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia in 1986 and obtained his CPA license in 1992.  In addition to IAPCS, his foray into non-profit accounting continued with the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the Children's Defense Fund, where he currently serves as the controller. 

 


Kevin Ajenifuja, Member, Ideal Academy Public Charter School Board of Trustees

Mr. Ajenifuja has assisted companies in developing the road map to profitable growth and provided the financial discipline to ensure their successes.  He has overseen the implementation of a metric driven operational management that encompasses financial model for budgeting, projections, profitability analysis, and cash flow. And directed the completion of projects and apply experience in process analysis and redesign, financial management, performance measurement and management, strategy, SOX compliance, and organization design/workforce planning. Past clients include: Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, Virilion, Sureclick Promotions, Howard University, Neighborhood Works, VIPdesk, and Delththree.

 As a Chief Financial Officer he has been successful at building and leading high performance finance organizations for both multinational and startup companies with annual revenue ranges from $10 million to $500 million.  Proven record of combining strategic/tactical financial expertise with strong qualifications in operations and P&L management to reverse financial declines and capture significant cost reductions through process redesign and performance enhancement. 

Mr. Ajenifuja joined the board in November 2010.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Lagos in Nigeria and his MBA in Finance from Rutgers University School of Business
